Cancellation Policy

All sessions book are non-transferable and non-refundable, unless cancelled by the organiser. If cancellation is necessary, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss, however refund will be at the organisers discretion.

 A no-show is when a customer misses an appointment without cancelling. In this case any refund of payment cannot be issued.

Complaints

If you are unhappy about the service that we offer or the way in which we deliver it to you, then please advise us in a timely manner and directly to us. We take complaints seriously and will always strive to resolve them in a fair and equitable manner. If you have a complaint, then please get in touch with us as soon as possible via the contact methods listed below. Please ensure your complaint is clear, constructive and gives an accurate idea of the issue based on events.

Shoot Day Terms & Conditions

The proprietors reserve the right to refuse entry.

 

All persons participate at their own risk. ‘Stubbs Hall Game Days' nor the Landowner will be held responsible for any accident or injury incurred by any person or persons, or for any loss or damage to property.

 

The consumption of alcohol prior to or during shooting is strictly prohibited.

 

Any person who is considered by the Shoot management to be acting in a dangerous or irresponsible manner will be escorted from the Shooting Ground immediately without recompense.

 

Any person who does not hold a Shotgun Certificate but who wishes to participate must be accompanied by a competent adult who holds a current Shotgun Certificate. They will be responsible for their actions.

 

All participants under 18 years old must wear hearing protection and be accompanied or supervised by a competent adult who is currently a Shotgun Certificate holder.

 

All vehicles to be parked as directed at owner’s risk.

 

Arrival at the ground must be in time for the Welcome and Safety Brief. If the Safety Brief is missed, that person will be unable to join any shoot session until such time as the Safety Brief can be given.

 

All shoots commence at 10.00am.

 

All weapons (shotguns) are to be carried empty (unloaded) either in a gun slip or broken (open). Semi-automatic/Pump action weapons are to have their chambers or magazines empty with either bolt to the rear of the action (open) or a safety flag inserted. No Semi-automatic/Pump action weapons are permitted on clay or driven days.

 

Weapons (shotguns) are only to be loaded once the participant is at the peg and the start whistle/horn has been sounded. Until this point they are to be carried as per the paragraph above; in the open and unloaded position.

 

Only the game specified on the safety brief or clays are to be shot at. No other birds, vermin or ground game are to be shot at.

 

Unconventional shooting i.e “from the hip” is not permitted. This will be classed as a danger to safety and you will be asked to leave immediately without recompense.

 

Fibre wad cartridges are only to be used. The use of any other type of cartridge  may result in the offending person being requested to leave the Shooting Ground without recompense.

 

Participants are not to approach, load or interfere with the clay traps.
